The Stockton Unified School District Police Department’s FY 2026-2030 Strategic Plan establishes a four-year framework for strengthening the Department’s ability to provide professional, consistent, and student-centered public safety services. The plan translates identified organizational needs and opportunities into defined priorities, measurable objectives, and phased deliverables that will guide the Department’s work over the next four years.

Welcome to the Stockton Unified School District Police Department
As I enter my fourth year as Chief of Police, I remain even more committed to leading this department with purpose, accountability, and a clear vision for the future. I am proud of the progress we have made, but I also recognize that continued growth requires us to remain forward-thinking, intentional, and willing to challenge ourselves to become better.
My commitment is to create meaningful growth opportunities for our personnel, strengthen our leadership, and be even more intentional in leading our team in a forward-moving direction. Become an SRO
Our SROs foster positive relationships with students and staff while ensuring a safe school environment and deterring crime. They promote lasting police–community partnerships, help at-risk youth, provide mentorship, volunteer in our many youth programs and much more. Read More
SUSD Explorer Program
The Explorer Program is open to youth ages 14 to 20 who are interested in building strong leadership qualities, learning about the law enforcement profession and the criminal justice system, and serving the community. Read More
